Additional information on our range of vacuum lifters

Our vacuum lifters are very versatile: the vacuum tube lifter Jumbo is suitable for a variety of intra-logistic materials handling tasks, while the vacuum lifting device VacuMaster can be used in a variety of production processes. Used correctly, these are the ideal lifting equipment solutions.

VacuMaster

VacuMaster has a modular design with basic modules like operator handles, load beams and suction plates that allow for customised configuration. Suction force is generated by the vacuum generator and transferred to the workpiece via the suction plates. For safety purposes, the aluminium load beam also serves as a vacuum reservoir. A chain hoist is required for lifting or lowering motion.

VacuMaster Vario:

  • Maximum lifting capacity 2 000 kg
  • Designed for loading and off-loading machines with large-format metal sheets and plates.
  • Vacuum lifter solutions for heavier loads are available

VacuMaster Comfort:

  • Load-bearing capacities of up to 750 kg
  • Operator handle with integrated control of the lifting device and the chain hoist
  • Controlled vacuum generator for reduced energy consumption

VacuMaster Eco:

  • Designed for horizontal handling of solid workpieces
  • Handles workpieces up to 1 000 kg
  • Secure and smooth vacuum handling

VacuMaster Basic:

  • Lifting capacity of 750 kg
  • Standard but versatile vacuum lifting solutions
  • Indispensable for many applications
Vacuum Tube Lifter Jumbo

The lifting unit, operating unit, vacuum grippers and vacuum generator on the vacuum tube lifter Jumbo can be configured to customer specifications. This vacuum lifting solution is characterised by its lifting unit, which contracts and extends when lifting and lowering the load. A large effective suction area facilitates safe holding of the workpiece.

JumboFlex

  • Designed for smaller lifting applications of workpieces weighing up to 50 kg
  • Simple handheld control handle
  • Intuitive lift, load and release procedure
  • Modular design allows for configuration based on individual application requirements

JumboErgo

  • Designed to handle different shaped and sized pieces up to 300 kg
  • Multiple suction pad array allow gripping of uneven objects
  • Operator safety enhanced by an adjustable length operator handle
  • Modular design allows for configuration based on individual application requirements

JumboSprint

  • Ideal for the handling of compact workpieces up to 300 kg.
  • Bow-shaped operator handle extends around entire lifting unit
  • Operator can optimally position the suction on goods like bags or rubber bails
  • Modular design allows for configuration based on individual application requirements

Vacuum Handling Systems Functioning

Vacuum Lifting Device VacuMaster

Consists of vacuum generator, load beam with vacuum reservoir and vacuum distributor, operator handle and suction plates.

Vacuum Tube Lifter Jumbo

Consists of vacuum generator, lifting unit, operating unit and vacuum lifter. Only vacuum is used to raise and lower loads.

Picking up and lifting the load

  • Vacuum generator generates a vacuum in the system by continually evacuating air.
  • The difference between the negative pressure and the ambient pressure draws the workpiece to the vacuum gripper.
  • Once the workpiece is picked up, the flow rate causes the lift tube to contract. The workpiece is then lifted
  • Vacuum generator generates a vacuum in the vacuum reservoir and then in the vacuum distributor by evacuating the air.
  • The difference between the negative pressure and the ambient pressure draws the workpiece to the suction plates when the device is placed onto the workpiece

Lowering and releasing the load

  • Operating the control element feeds atmospheric air into the system. The vacuum is reduced.
  • The lift tube expands and the load is lowered. The lifting height can be precisely controlled by controlling the amount of atmospheric air that is fed into the system.
  • To release the load, the vacuum is completely eliminated through maximum venting via the operator handle.
  • The lifting device with the load that has been picked up is moved up and down by controlling the chain hoist.
  • To release the load, the vacuum in the distributor is eliminated through atmospheric venting.
  • The vacuum reservoir remains filled for the next lifting process.
