Representing industry’s top brands!

Hytec Holdings represents the interests of the Group’s 26 leading hydraulic, pneumatic and automation brands in Africa. This representation also includes Hytec Holdings constantly assessing the value each brand brings to the market, as well as how they are received by customers.

The Hytec Group and Bosch Rexroth:

In 2014, the Group’s major trading partner, Bosch Rexroth, acquired a 50% shareholding in Hytec from Tesuco and purchased the remaining shares in 2017.

This is a positive development for the Hytec Group and strengthens our growth strategy for sub-Saharan Africa.

Hytec Holdings management and Bosch Rexroth work closely together to give customers access to the latest innovations, technologies and technical support from Germany.

Through Hytec Holdings, Bosch Rexroth utilises the Group’s established local knowledge, expertise and end-user relationships as a springboard to achieve strategic growth into sub-Saharan Africa.

Hytec Holdings upholds the Hytec Group culture

The Hytec Group, a Bosch Rexroth Company, is committed to uplifting the wellbeing of its employees and previously disadvantaged communities. Being a certified Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) contributor, the Group’s commitment to empowering the lives of South Africans extends far beyond a mere rating.

Social investment has always been entrenched in the Hytec Holdings business model, not an afterthought. To this end, we invest heavily in advancing and enriching the lives of our employees and their communities.

The 750 Group members are by far the company’s greatest asset. The Group takes great pride in constantly training, developing and mentoring our employees so that they can further their careers and realise their abilities to the greatest degree.

Hytec Holdings is consolidating Group operations under one roof!

The next era for the Group begins with a R200-million investment into our new state-of-the-art facility that will consolidate five Group companies and one Bosch Rexroth company into a leaner, centralised operation.

Hytec Holdings, Hytec, Tectra Automation, HYSA, Hytec Services Africa and Hägglunds have moved to a new 16 000-m2 facility that is strategically located near OR Tambo International Airport.

Through this, the Hytec Holdings is not only investing in the Group’s expanding operations, but is facilitating cross-company information sharing and is reinforcing the Hytec Group as a truly single-source supplier for every hydraulic, pneumatic and automation operation in sub-Saharan Africa.
